The Wastewater Treatment Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of the wastewater treatment plant, including chemical control (water quality management) for closed-loop cooling towers and hot water boiler systems. This role involves developing and implementing strategies for effective treatment processes, plant maintenance, and infrastructure improvements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing budgets and coordinating maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
- Overseeing contracts and relationships with service providers.
- Leading a team of treatment plant personnel.
- Managing effluent quality and process optimization.
- Overseeing infrastructure upgrade projects.
The WWTP Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring plant efficiency, regulatory compliance, water quality improvement, and the safety of the facility and surrounding environment.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Licensing: State-approved license required (Chemical Control and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator & Laboratory Analysts, OSHA).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in live facility maintenance preferred.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
