Land Planner I
Overview
The Land Planner I will play a pivotal role in supporting diverse land-use planning projects by conducting research and contributing to the creation of essential planning documents.
Responsibilities
Assist in conducting thorough research and data collection for land-use planning projects.
Support site analysis activities, including conducting field surveys and interpreting data.
Prepare essential planning documents, such as site plans, zoning maps, and comprehensive land-use analyses.
Assist in the preparation of presentations and detailed reports for clients and stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.
Keep up to date with changing zoning regulations, environmental policies, and current trends in land use.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
Previous experience is beneficial but not required.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and SketchUp.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
Must be flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice and/or on a daily basis as changes occur in project needs.
Must be able to work 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime.
