Registration and Records Assistant II - Financial Aid and Scholarships Office Support

Summary of Job Duties:

The Registration and Records Assistant II is responsible for examining, scanning, and verifying documents primarily within electronic systems, and performing general office duties. Other duties as assigned.

This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. 

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.


Qualifications:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma

At least one year of experience in a specialized or related area applicable to work performed


Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education

Experience running scanning/copying equipment

Experience navigating and using Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint and other computer applications for data and file management


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Effectively using interpersonal and communications skills including tact and diplomacy

Attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through skills

Ability to work effectively with supervision and as a part of a team

Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions

Ability to have sound judgment to identify and report problems to supervisors and contribute to resolving them

Ability to maintain an established work schedule

Ability to maintain the confidentiality of the variety of material that will be handled
