Land Planner I
Overview
The Land Planner I will play a pivotal role in supporting diverse land-use planning projects by conducting research and contributing to the creation of essential planning documents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting thorough research and data collection for land-use planning projects.
- Support site analysis activities, including conducting field surveys and interpreting data.
- Prepare essential planning documents, such as site plans, zoning maps, and comprehensive land-use analyses.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and detailed reports for clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Keep up to date with changing zoning regulations, environmental policies, and current trends in land use.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
- Previous experience is beneficial but not required.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and SketchUp.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Must be flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice and/or on a daily basis as changes occur in project needs
- Must be able to work 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime
