Cryptologic Engagement Officer - Entry to Experienced Level (Maryland)

Responsibilities

Cryptologic Engagement Officers' responsibilities include: - Developing, nurturing, and/or negotiating relationships with the DoD, Intelligence Community, Industry and foreign partners. - Operating in a collaborative and responsive environment, maximizing dynamic partner capabilities. - Assessing stakeholder needs and identifying capabilities to address those needs. - Providing timely and effective support and information sharing within appropriate legal authorities. - Identifying the internal and external politics that impact the work of the organization and responding accordingly.

Job Summary

Cryptologic Engagement Officers engage with internal and external stakeholders to deliver products; protect assets; make procurements; influence policy; protect, develop and acquire human resources; develop partnerships; and share and receive knowledge, as examples.

Qualifications

The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Degree in any area is acceptable. Relevant experience must be in one of the following: (a) an area directly related to NSA mission (e.g., collection, intelligence, and cryptologic); (b) NSA/IC/DOD mission support; (c) NSA/IC/DOD inter-agency support, and/or d) NSA-relevant industry, academic, or governmental entities. External engagement/collaboration experience (e.g., participation in cross-Agency working groups, JDA, field assignment, external customer support) within the DoD or IC is preferred. ENTRY/DEVELOPMENTAL Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 6 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. FULL PERFORMANCE Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience or a Doctoral degree plus 1 year of relevant experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 8 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. SENIOR Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience or a Doctoral degree plus 2 years of relevant experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 10 years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. EXPERT Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 9 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience or a Doctoral degree plus 5 years of relevant experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 13 years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree plus 11 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.
