Land Development Civil Engineer Intern
- Assisting in the design of site plans, grading plans, drainage plans, and utility plans for land development projects.
- Conducting site visits to observe construction progress, verify compliance with construction plans and specifications, and report any issues to senior engineers.
- Assisting in the preparation of technical reports, project proposals, and construction documents.
- Conducting calculations, analyses, and research related to the design of land development projects.
- Preparing and revising engineering drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Participating in meetings with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to discuss project progress, design issues, and construction schedules.
- Assisting in the review of shop drawings, submittals, and other construction documents to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Learning and applying principles of project management, including project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of permit applications and other regulatory filings.
- Learning and following safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all project team members.
