The Company: 

Certified Fire is a contracting and service company in the business of protecting building property and the people who use them. We are known for our service and provide the following:

·        Fire Sprinkler – Design, Installation, Service

·        Fire Alarm – Service, and Monitoring

·        Inspections (Fire Protection systems), Fire extinguisher service, and Kitchen Hoods.

The Position:

We’re looking for full time entry level or experienced drafter/designer(s) to assist with the design and drafting of fire sprinkler/alarm systems for commercial and residential buildings. The pay range is based on experience. On the Job training will be provided in addition to some formal training.

• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM office hours with flexibility to start as early as 7:00 AM or as late as 8:30 AM as arranged with your supervisor.

Requirements:

·        Experience and/or training in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, and HydraCAD used)

·        Work with Microsoft Office Products (MS Word and MS Excel)

·        Good with math.

·        Be willing to learn and take a proactive approach in leaning Fire Sprinkler and/or Alarm Systems.

Responsibilities:

·        Preparing Fire Sprinkler and/or Fire Alarm drawings using CAD/BIM software. 

·        Prepare Material Submittals

·        Perform Calculations

·        Site surveying of existing conditions for remodel work.
