Our client is a private equity firm based in the greater New York area, with over $15B in assets under management. The firm acquires and builds businesses across a wide-array of industries — operating them for the long term to create durable value over time. Its model is operationally intensive: investment professionals work directly with portfolio company leadership, and analysts are in the room from diligence through ownership.
The firm runs a deliberately small investment team. Analysts work directly with Partners, take real responsibility early, and are developed for advancement within the firm — this is a career seat, not a two-year program with a forced exit.

THE ROLE — Private Equity Analyst, Summer 2027 Start
The firm is hiring its incoming Analyst class for a summer 2027 start. Analysts join the investment team and work across the full life of a deal: sourcing support and industry research, financial modeling and underwriting, transaction diligence alongside senior deal professionals, and post-close work with portfolio company management. The breadth is unusual — because the firm owns and operates its businesses, analysts see operational value creation firsthand rather than only the transaction.

Who this fits: graduating seniors (Class of 2027) and early-career professionals with a demonstrated interest in investing; strong analytical and modeling foundations; and the temperament for an ownership culture — rigorous, direct, and long-term. Prior banking or investing internship experience preferred but not required for exceptional candidates.
